Description
Smoky quartz cut with a flat table and facets, sold loose rather than set. Colour runs from a pale grey-brown to a deep smoke depending on the stone.
Most smoky quartz on the market — including this — gets its colour from irradiation, either natural or applied. That is standard for the stone and we would rather say it than let you assume otherwise.
Care: quartz is hard and takes handling well, but smoky quartz fades in prolonged direct sunlight. Do not leave it on a windowsill.
