Do crystal bracelets actually work?

Are these real crystals?

How do I care for it?
Keep it away from perfume and hot water, and take it off in the shower. To cleanse a crystal, leave it out overnight under moonlight or on a bed of dry rice — not in salt water, which pits softer stones like Turquoise and Hematite.
